Ahh. And I'm debating on getting either a Pan Flute or repairing the old violin my great uncle used to play.
His old violin is made of mostly wood unlike most newer violins. It is very clear that it's old. The varnishing is worn, some of its base is cracked, the the stubs are made of wood along with the rods that make the strings tighter. There are also a few strings missing, and the bridge needs to be replaced.
It needs a lot of work and probably will be expensive to fix. D; But it's worth it. It's the family heirloom.
